The Procurement Agent is responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and securing the best value for The Boeing Company.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nIntegrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies\nNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions\nPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements\nConducts risk, issues and opportunities management\nManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance\nInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.\nThis position is for 1st shift.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nMore than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.\nMore than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.\nMore than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nBachelor’s degree or higher\nMore than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)\nMore than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer\nMore than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts\nTypical Education/Experience:\nTypically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
