This role focuses on accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing, issue resolution, reconciliations and strong operational documentation while partnering with local payroll vendors, external providers and cross-functional teams.\nThe position will be based out of Teknopark , Pendik/İstanbul, Türkiye.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nOversee end-to-end payroll runs assigned, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, and provide support or validation for payrolls within the assigned countries as required.\nManage pre-payroll validations, data cleansing and exception handling to minimize rework.\nReconcile payroll outputs, investigate post-payroll discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions across supported countries.\nCoordinate with local and global payroll vendors (e.g., CloudPay, TCS, PWC etc. ) and internal platform owners (Workday, ServiceNow) for integration issues, configuration clarifications and incident resolution.\nMaintain and update detailed country-specific payroll process documentation and transaction-level work instructions for payrolls assigned\nSupport testing and deployment of payroll system changes, patches and enhancements; validate results and document outcomes.\nProduce regular payroll reports and support KPI tracking; escalate trends, country-specific risks and compliance issues to the manager.\nSupport onboarding and training of vendor payroll teams (e.g., TCS) and act as a subject matter resource for payroll queries.\nEnsure compliance with local payroll regulations, tax rules and statutory reporting requirements for Payrolls assigned.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggest automation opportunities and strengthen controls for multi-country payroll processing.\nBehavioral Attributes\nCustomer-focused with commitment to delivering a positive employee and stakeholder experience.\nStrong interpersonal skills; builds productive relationships with local HR teams, vendors and global partners.\nDetail-oriented, reliable and accountable for accuracy.\nProactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and follows through to resolution.\nCollaborative team player with effective communication and time-management skills.\nOpenness to digital tools and continuous improvement mindset.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)\n5+ years hands-on payroll experience with demonstrated experience supporting Turkish & other regional payrolls.\n3+ years of practical experience with at least one global payroll platform and vendor-managed payroll environments (CloudPay, PWC Workday and ServiceNow)\n3+ Years of exposure to payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance and payroll reporting.\nStrong knowledge of Turkey payroll’ legislation, social security, taxes and statutory filings.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business or related field preferred.\nFamiliarity with other payrolls concepts (Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan) and statutory requirements.\nSolid skills in gross-to-net calculations, benefits, deductions, off-cycle payments and corrective payroll actions.\nProficient in post-payroll reconciliation, troubleshooting and analytical root-cause techniques for complex exceptions.\nUnderstanding of upstream HR data flows (time & attendance, benefits, HRIS) and downstream integrations to finance and statutory reporting.\nStrong spreadsheet skills and ability to extract, manipulate and present payroll data.\nFluency in both English and Turkish is required.\nAdditional Details:\nThis requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Istanbul, Türkiye.
