If you are detail-oriented, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to apply and join our mission to deliver excellence in aviation.\nPosition Responsibilities\nOperate boilers, and may operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment.\n\nRead gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations.\n\nMonitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels.\n\nActivate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilers.\n\nFire coal furnaces or feed boilers, using gas feeds or oil pumps.\n\nInspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently.\n\nCheck safety devices and perform environmental checks routinely.\n\nRecord data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity.\n\nPhysical Demands and Potential Hazards:\nPerform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.\n\nEngage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.\n\nWork in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.\n\nOperate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.\n\nAdapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.\n\nUtilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.\n\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
