Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Supports negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Participates in supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDuties will include (but are not limited to):\nPurchase consumables for MRO and OEM usage within the aerospace industry.\nIntegrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.\nConduct tenders (RFQ/RFP) and bid comparisons for the procurement of consumables in the aviation industry.\nPerform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply\nPrepare and execute proprietary information agreements\nSupport sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting contracts and agreements\nCommunicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance\nCollaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to resolve payment issues and develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.\nInitiate and execute supplier improvement activities, integrating results into contracting strategies.\nParticipate in supply chain process improvement teams and identify opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):\nThree or more years of experience in purchasing or a logistics environment, with an emphasis on supplier management.\nExcellent written and spoken English skills.\nProficient in the use of the MS Office package, particularly Excel, to facilitate daily tasks and data analysis.\nFamiliarity with common ERP systems (especially SAP).\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.\nKnowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.\nExperience with contract management and compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.\n Conflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process\nWork Authorization:\n This requisition is for a locally hired position in the United Kingdom.
