Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.\nPosition Overview\nBoeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for Experienced Propulsion Service Engineer (Mian Engines/APU) to join the team in Bangalore (campus), India. This position will focus on providing 24/7 support to Boeing commercial airplane customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work complex technical challenges in support of safety operation and return to service.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nExtensive Trouble shooting on all or at least most of the listed installed on commercial airplanes with regards to maintenance and operations - ATA 12 SERVICING - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, ATA 71 - ATA 80 POWER PLANTS, ATA 49 AIRBORNE AUXILIARY POWER\nProvides technical, design and informational support for basic production, product support or in-service issues. Troubleshoots aircraft system problems consistent with operational protocols.\nReviews various Boeing documentation (e.g., maintenance documentation, parts list, component manuals, etc.) to identify solution(s) for in-service concerns and look proactively for potential future fleet solutions.\nReviews drawings and installations to ensure customer questions/concerns are resolved.\nSupports and/or creates and provides basic technical documentation (e.g. Fleet Team Digest articles, service letters, drawings, specifications, documents, data sets, design folders, test requirements documents, manuals) in accordance with engineering processes and procedures for internal reference or external delivery.\nAssists with the study and assessment of technology development by gathering data, supporting testing and documenting findings.\nSupports review of technical design, analysis, and production by reviewing documentation, participating in design reviews and observing tests and audits to ensure compliance.\nAssists with the investigation of problems to provide engineering design disposition of discrepancies.\nSupports and/or leads the research on technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.\nAssists in designing and/or providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue service.\nWorks with and possibly directing cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.\nAssists in the development of customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment\nAssists in solving problems and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.\nThe position requires flexibility to address emergent issues and important airline meetings off hours and may require an occasional off shift work schedule to support the fleet operating 24 hours/7 days a week/365 day of the year.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelors’ Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering / Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.\nFull-Time recognized Bachelor of Engineering or Technology (4 years) with 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master’s and related work experience) \nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nAdditional AME credentials preferable\nB1/B2 applicable license is added advantage \nExperience with systems engineering, engines, Propulsion systems, and their installations\nExtensive Trouble shooting on all or at least most of the listed installed on commercial airplanes with regards to maintenance and operations - ATA 12 SERVICING - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, ATA 71 - ATA 80 POWER PLANTS, ATA 49 AIRBORNE AUXILIARY POWER\nExperience with Boeing 7-series airplanes.\nExperience supporting end users in a customer service role is highly preferrable\nConversant with aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM and FIM), IPC, WDM, CMM, AHM, and service documentation (FTD, SLs, etc.).\nExperience in system failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting on Boeing commercial airplane models.\nExperience in handling repair, maintenance and retrofit processes, practices, and documentation.\nExperience in handling airplane maintenance and flight operation documentation.\nKnowledge of the Airworthiness Directives and related Service documents.\nKnowledge of aircraft safety and quality management systems.\nGood verbal and
