The Quality Engineer (QE) will ensure that the programs adhere to Boeing's requirements and provide quality interpretation. Primary duties will include:\nDevelops Quality metrics, design, and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, and regulatory requirements.\nAnalyze non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.\nPerforms benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved. \nParticipates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.\nThe QA Representative is also the primary interface for streamlining internal and external communication and driving visibility and ownership within the program /projects.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nRepresents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. \nDevelops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. \nConducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.\nParticipates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. \nPerforms analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. \nProvides material review dispositions for non-conformances. \nAnalyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. \nRecommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. \nPerforms benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. \nWorks under general direction.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): \nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science\n3+ years of experience with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)\n3+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)\n3+ years of experience in leading or managing projects and/or teams\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nLevel 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\n3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation\nExperience in aerospace manufacturing\nSoftware Quality experience\n1+ year of experience performing audits\nTravel:\nPosition may require travel up to 10% of the time.\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
