We are responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including new capabilities like the E-7 AEW&C and the P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services and are very much in a growth phase.\nBDUK engineering function operates a matrix organisation consisting of engineering departments that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. This role will be in the Product Support Engineering Department.\nThe Department consists of the following technical areas:\n• Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis \n• Reliability and Maintainability \n• Logistic Support Analysis \n• Engineering Data Exploitation \n• Obsolescence Management \n• Technical Publications \n• Integrated Logistic Support Engineering \nAs an R&M Engineer , you will call upon your experience to support and review R&M predictions, fleet data analysis , drive Digital Data exploitation and be accountable for building out core capabilities to identify opportunities to deploy data enhancements to improve R&M performance. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager whilst being technically supported by your R&M Lead and other specialists within the department.\nIn your role, you shall:\nWork in a team and carry out the execution of contracted R&M work. \nProvide analytical capability to transform information and data; providing insight to support R&M decision making. \nCollaborating with other Engineering disciplines and the other Senior Stakeholders, to ensure consistency of working methods and activities across all projects \nSupport and review Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS). \nCoordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report status of R&M activities.\nPerform statistical analysis on fault data to identify reliability thresholds and trending. \nWork with modelling teams and supply chain to connect the R&M data into provisioning and forecasting of aircraft spares. \nPresent R&M findings within UK defence customer forums and working groups. \nAside from your technical work there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, promoting a safety culture, promoting Diversity and Inclusion, mentoring and coaching, STEM outreach and a number of focus projects to support the growth of the company and its employees.\nBasic Qualifications (Skills/Experience):\nEligibility for UK SC Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain the necessary clearance.\n\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n\nHigh level of skill in reliability availability modelling calculations including industry toolsets and methodologies.\n\nUnderstanding of the relationships between R&M and Design, Dependability, Safety, Integrated Product Support & Asset Management\n\nMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience):\nA clear communicator with a can-do attitude who has the drive, commitment and passion to continuously improve the quality of service\n\nExcellent reporting and presentation skills.\n\nKnowledge and application experience of risk & reliability management systems and techniques\n\nIdeally, have a Defence background but this is not essential\n\nConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\n\nWhat Boeing Offers You:\nThe Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond, focusing on your physical, emotional, financial, and social well-being.
