We are dedicated to delivering exceptional value and quality, making us the preferred provider of cabin modifications and maintenance.\nIf you are passionate about aviation and want to be part of a dynamic team committed to customer success, we invite you to explore opportunities with us!\nIn this role you will:\nBe responsible forcertification activities foraircraftseating products withinthe Boeing Commercial Airplanes business unit, producingSTCs that allowpost-delivery installation of new seating products.\n\nServe asa Boeing representative for stress, engineering and certification topics relatedtotheintegration ofaircraftseating.\n\nPerform analytical and finite element (FE)calculations,assess and predict structural failure modes,includingexecution of root cause analysis.\n\nCompile structural substantiation documents and review data from our suppliers for integration approval of seats (allseattypes,includingthosewithunique features) into the airframe.\n\nWork closely with Boeing teams and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure our products are delivered in the correct condition and quality.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\nBasic qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor’s degree in Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.\n\n5+ years of related work experience inaerospaceengineering, including stress analysis, supplier integration,and understanding oftheEASA Part 21Jcertificationprocess.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nExperience: You havea good understanding ofEASA regulatoryand applicable airworthiness requirements, includingCS-25.561 and CS-25.562and theirassociated ACsand AMCs.Experience in seat development and certificationcovering conceptdefinitionthrough approval, includingtest witnessing, familiarity withETSO performance standards(i.e.: C127, C39 series),andworking knowledge ofSTCprocesses foraircraftseats.\n\nKnowledge: Showstrongattention to detailwithexperienceinaircraftinterior modification programs,including certifying novel seat features such as pre-tensioners and air bags.Ability to manage multipleprograms with varying levels of requirements.\n\nCollaboration: Demonstratedexperienceworking effectively with colleagues andstakeholders (i.e.:suppliersandcustomers).
