This organization supports commercial proprietary customers in and around the Chantilly area.\nThis position will be full-time working on rotating shifts to include weekends and holidays as needed. Candidate will work independently at a commercial facility managing access to the facility and monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras and systems.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nProvides daily presence at front desk and greets anyone entering the facility\nResponds to Alarms\nRestricts access to all un-badged personnel\nNotifies Facility Manager of any items occurring at the facility that are not normal (power outage, activity in or around the building, deliveries, visitors, etc.)\nPrepares daily log of all items at the facility\nMonitors exterior cameras and reports all activity\nNotifies Facility Engineer of any facility system alarms\nConducts and documents basic advances, acts as a support team member, creates after-action reports and negotiates for support to meet requirements with internal/external support personnel\nAssists in the development of training materials using common office applications and delivers training from provided materials\nResponds to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations by operating specialized tools, equipment and apparatus\nOperates technical surveillance equipment\nDevelops procedures to implement security practices\nDevelops training materials within industry guidelines\nProvides security related instruction\nOversees activities to protect company assets\nDefines appropriate response to requests for assistance\nConsults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company information protection planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interests\nSchedules and plans work assignments.
