As a DevOps Developer and member of the team, you will help build, optimize, and secure the technology that delivers strategic and tactical mobility solutions to support the warfighter mission.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nParticipate in or lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of a consistent, secure software development toolchain across multiple sites and networks.\nDesign, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure to include physical and virtualized environments.\nDevelop robust scripting and automation solutions for toolchain orchestration, artifact packaging, and deployment.\nMaintain consistent and reproducible environments using containers (Docker) or virtualization technologies.\nAutomate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, recovery, security scanning, and vulnerability management using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps best practices.\nPerform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine to complex computing service operations (backups/restores, networking, and domain-related functions)\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nPartner with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and transition teams to validate handoffs, support release coordination, and ensure smooth production deployments.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, developers, and leadership to communicate priorities, progress, and product goals.\n15%-30% domestic and international travel, contingent upon program need\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\n5+ years of experience with writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems\n3+ years of experience working in VMWare Virtualization\n1+ years of experience working with agile teams and agile software development\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nExperience with GitLab pipeline development \nExperience with Jira\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
