In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing essential financial and cost management analysis for the world's largest and most powerful rocket.\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for:\nFinancial Analysis:\nConduct in-depth financial analysis to support the Space Launch System program, ensuring accurate and timely reporting\nCollaborate with program teams to develop and maintain financial forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies\nCost Management:\nMonitor program expenses, identifying trends and potential risks\nProvide recommendations for cost optimization and contribute to cost-benefit analysis\nReporting and Briefings:\nPrepare comprehensive financial reports for various stakeholders, including Finance and Program Leadership\nDevelop and present financial information for briefings, ensuring clarity and transparency\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nWork closely with teams within the SLS Program and Boeing Defense and Space Finance organization to ensure financial alignment and accuracy\nCollaborate on strategic initiatives and financial planning activities\nData Gathering and Analysis:\nGather and analyze business information and requirements related to Earned Value Management (EVM) program execution\nCoordinate change activities and support monitoring, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data\nReporting and Forecasting:\nDevelop and update information and reports for project management and business stakeholders\nAssist in preparing routine performance reports and contribute to variance analyses\nBaseline Development:\nSupport the development and maintenance of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value\nAssist in developing business cases using appropriate indices\nQuality Control:\nPerform quality control actions to ensure the integrity of business information\nSupport baseline activities and administer relevant processes\nPosition Responsibilities:\nMaintains financial controls related to financial system activities\nSupports baseline and estimate at completion system incorporation activities\nReviews and validates change documents (CDs) as part of baseline execution\nResponsible for financial system month end processing activities and financial system data integrity\nReviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends\nPrepares monthly financial reporting deliverables, both internal and external\nInitiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management\nProvides daily and weekly cost reporting utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)\nParticipates in and supports affordability initiatives and exercises\nThis position is hybrid.
