This role will support new product design, development, integration and flight test supporting the areas of flight control and subsystem control for the T-7A Red Hawk.\nJoin us, and you can build something better for yourself, for our customers and for the world.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nGather, define and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from the system level to component level\n\nUse multidisciplinary model data (aero, mass properties, propulsion, etc.) to develop and refine a complex, nonlinear, 6 degrees of freedom simulation model\n\nSupport design of flight control laws and tools to achieve design and performance targets\n\nUse advanced analysis to assess and refine the control law design\n\nPerform model validation against test data to inform and improve the accuracy of the simulation environment\n\nDevelop supplementary controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping to properly bound the performance within all areas of the flight envelope\n\nWork with multi-discipline engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight program\n\nSupport flight simulations, hardware in the loop testing, and flight testing\n\nParticipate in design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations\n\nAuthor and maintain engineering documentation for consistency and delivery.\n\nPerform and document design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools and guides less experienced engineers in performance of the designs\n\nLead, organize and resolve cross-divisional problems to provide technical assistance to internal/external customers\n\nAssure cost, time effective, creative solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction\n\nPerform a wide variety of complex trades studies to meet program requirements\n\nWork under consultative direction\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n\n14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nMaster of Science degree in Engineering and 12 or more years related work experience\n\nExperience with system and component modeling\n\nExperience with implementing algorithms in a real time system\n\nExperience programming in C/C#\n\nAdvanced Control Systems courses\n\nExperience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX\n\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
