Manufacturing Engineering develops an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to ensure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements.\nThe ideal candidate will support cross-functional initiatives that increase throughput, reduce cost, improve quality, and enable production scaling for complex aerospace products.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nReview engineering requirements and drawings and provide manufacturability and producibility feedback\nInvestigate technical problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing process improvements \nParticipate in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies\nInterface with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience\nEnsure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency \nSupport operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers \nParticipate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly consideration\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start may be required.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.\n5+ years of work-related experience\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering \nExperience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers \nExperience with 3D model-based instruction \nExperience with any of the following: Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, \nExperience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) \nExperience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.) \nTypical Education:\nLevel 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
