Mechanical Systems Design Analysis EngineerCompany:\nThe Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Analysis Engineer to support the Air Dominance Proprietary 2 team in Hazelwood, Missouri.\nThis role is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and validating ground support equipment, handling equipment, test equipment, maintenance stands, adapters, fixtures, and related support hardware used to assemble, inspect, test, transport, maintain, and sustain military systems.\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in a development program environment with a strong understanding of how support equipment enables production, fielding, maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment of complex defense platforms.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop support equipment for military platform development and sustainment programs\nCreate hardware solutions such as fixtures, test adapters, maintenance stands, lifting devices, transport equipment, and alignment tools\nCollaborate with systems engineering, manufacturing, test, logistics, supply chain, and maintainability teams to define support equipment requirements\nEnsure support equipment meets safety, maintainability, reliability, usability, and operational needs\nDevelop engineering drawings, models, specifications, interface definitions, and technical documentation\nSupport integration of support equipment into production, test, maintenance, and field environments\nConduct trade studies to evaluate support equipment concepts, materials, cost, schedule, and performance\nVerify and validate support equipment designs through analysis, inspection, test, and review\nCoordinate with military customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues\nSupport design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and program milestone events\nAssess design changes and their impact on platform supportability and sustainment\nEnsure compliance with applicable military, safety, quality, and program standards\nSupport transition of support equipment from design through procurement, fabrication, deployment, and use\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)\nActive U.S. Security Clearance\n5+ years of engineering experience\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nExperience supporting aircraft, rotorcraft, unmanned systems, weapons systems, or other defense platforms\nFamiliarity with ground support equipment, test equipment, production support tooling, or maintainability hardware\nExperience with lifting/hoisting equipment, structural fixtures, alignment tools, or test interfaces\nKnowledge of military safety requirements, materials handling, and supportability practices\nExperience supporting design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and production readiness reviews\nBackground in finite element analysis, structural analysis, tolerance stack-ups, or mechanical design optimization\nExperience working with
