This engineering internship will be embedded at Boeing’s Gatwick Training Campus with the Simulator Engineering team, who are responsible for engineering of Boeing commercial Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs). This role will include FSTD special projects ranging from developing aircraft simulation software models, troubleshooting FSTD technical issues, completing FSTD hardware and software updates, performing verification and validation of simulator software changes, and supporting the qualification and regulatory activities. Work will require strong collaboration skills to connect with stakeholders from internal Boeing engineering teams, FSTD suppliers, flight training instructors, pilots, customers, and regulators.
