Directs the review, analyses, and translation of customer requirements into the design of software products for embedded devices and systems.\nConsults on code for embedded systems software to run on specific specialized hardware.\nProvides consultation on integration of embedded software with hardware components.\nOversees analyses, monitoring and improvement of the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.\nDirects testing and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems. Influences current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development and hardware technologies.\nInfluences company approach regarding software and hardware integration domains.\nOversees tracking and evaluation of internal and supplier software team performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards.\nProvides technical leadership for embedded software project management functions.\nAdvises management on a wide range of topics related to the embedded software engineering environment.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):\nBachelor’s Degree\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship\n5+ years of experience leading a software development team through the full software life cycle\n5+ Years experience in software architecture and design of embedded software systems\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Ability to effectively lead, communicate and collaborate with key stake holders across multiple organizations\nExperience with software architecture and design methodologies.
