Experience and knowledge of quality standards (e.g. AS9100 / AS9115) is strongly preferred.\nThe ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, and able to quickly learn the responsibilities of the position. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are crucial for success. Candidates should possess resilience and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback. The ideal team member will also demonstrate the capacity to assertively communicate their boundaries while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nMaintains software quality engineering program plans\n\nUses established criteria to review, comment and recommend approval of software life cycle documents and program products\n\nConducts limited audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions\n\nAssists in configuration management activities such as software product release and change control board\n\nAssists with review of deviations and waivers to the software baseline\n\nImproves products and processes and manage risk\n\nVerifies pre-test set up\n\nMonitors or witnesses test activity to established test plans and procedure\n\nAssists with verification of test results to performance requirements\n\nUses established procedures and methods to perform final reconciliation of simple software data product\n\nAssists in verifying the acceptability of segments of the supplier's software quality systems and programs\n\nAssists with software acceptance and delivery activities for low risk procurements\n\nIdentifies non-conformances and issues corrective actions\n\nReviews and approves corrective and preventive action plans\n\nAssists in verification of effectiveness of corrective and preventive action plans\n\nWorks under general supervision\n\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
