Acting as the liaison between Boeing Distribution and suppliers, you will ensure products and processes meet quality and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, drive improvements, and monitor supplier performance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are key to maintaining supplier compliance and supporting Boeing’s aerospace supply chain excellence.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupplier Performance: Monitor and improve supplier manufacturing and quality performance through ongoing evaluation and support.\nSupplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and on-site evaluations to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.\nNonconformance Management: Investigate nonconformances, escapes, and corrective actions to maintain product quality and reliability.\nRoot Cause Analysis: Support root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address supplier issues.\nExpeditor Support: Assist the Expeditor team with follow-ups and supplier escalations to ensure timely resolution of supply chain challenges.\nCompliance Assurance: Ensure supplier compliance with Boeing requirements, customer specifications, aviation/industry standards, and regulatory and quality system requirements.\nProcess Review: Review supplier processes related to manufacturing, inspection, documentation, traceability, and material control to uphold quality standards.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sourcing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve supplier issues effectively.\nField Support: Provide field support for product acceptance, issue resolution, and recovery plans to maintain customer satisfaction.\nSupplier Metrics Tracking: Track supplier metrics such as quality performance, on-time delivery, responsiveness, and process capability to drive continuous improvement.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)\n3+ years’ experience in supplier quality management or related field.\nExperience in the aerospace industry.\nProven ability to conduct supplier audits and on-site evaluations.\nKnowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and regulatory requirements.\nExperience working with common ERP systems (preferably SAP)\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nCertification in quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).\nDemonstrated success in root cause analysis and supplier development.\nFamiliarity with regulatory bodies such as FAA or EASA.\nAbility to analyze supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, responsiveness).\nStrong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process\nWork Authorization:\nThis requisition is for a locally hired position in the United Kingdom.
