Our team focuses on delivering complex solutions in some of the most challenging environments on Earth. We provide support for our Mission Operations Portfolio which design, build, test, deploy, operate, and maintain a wide variety of mission critical platforms and systems for commercial and government customers.\nThe System Administrator will perform system administration tasks, to include infrastructure administration and automation, information security support and configurations, software and OS installation/updates, and follows configuration/change control processes. The System Administrator will create new solutions to hard technical problems and provide system support using best practices with modern and innovative tooling. The System Administrator will also support the design, validation and configuration management of computing systems, and monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nMonitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular maintenance tasks such as applying updates, patches, and security fixes\n\nAssist Network Engineers with configuring and managing network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, to facilitate communication and resource sharing within the network\n\nAssist with implementing and managing backup strategies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery capabilities in case of system failures or data loss\n\nAssist with implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls, to protect the system from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats\n\nAnalyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to improve overall system efficiency and responsiveness\n\nMaintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, as well as generating reports on system performance, security, and compliance\n\nParticipating in the planning and implementation of new systems, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring compatibility and adherence to best practices\n\nStaying up to date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and security practices, and continuously improving skills and knowledge\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nThis position requires an Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current FSP (Full Scope Polygraph) (U.S. Citizenship Required).
