The Systems integration team supports large-scale multisystem projects from concept, to integrated testing, certification, production incorporation, and delivery.\nThe 787 program is undertaking a number of significant improvements including new features and capabilities to enhance this already highly capable airplane. Additionally, the Systems Integration team supports the entire 787 fleet in service, leading resolution to fleet and safety issues, customer commitments, and overall airplane system product strategy. This opportunity will provide the engineer with a detailed exposure of the core systems components at the heart of the 787, learning about systems interfaces, airplane level thinking, change management, and project management. Successful candidates will have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, present information to executive leadership, and build and execute integrated project plans.\nOur team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) System Integration Engineers.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupports cross-functional teams through the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects\n\nWork with multiple airplane systems including Environmental Controls Systems, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, Network Systems, Avionics Systems, and Cyber Security and will lead these teams through a variety of complex projects\n\nCollaborate with airplane safety, regulatory administration, and various 787 program teams such as change management, supply chain, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and delivery centers\n\nImplements systems engineering best practices, and process improvements\n\nWorking knowledge of the aircraft certification process\n\nAble to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships\n\nAbility to effectively communicate with a diverse engineering team in order to synthesize complex information\n\nStrong project management skills\n\nAbility to communicate technical and project recommendations to executive management\n\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n\n5+ years of experience performing complex systems engineering or system integration work\n\n5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nLevel 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\n5+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry\n\nExperience working with and collaborating with executive leadership\n\nExperience supporting production and factory\n\nExperience supporting airline customers\n\nConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\n\nPay Range Summary:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
