Employees enjoy the perks of mountain life with none of the resort town isolation.\nSUMMARY\nThe HR Assistant is responsible for performing various clerical and administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department. This is a seasonal position starting around the month of September and ending around April.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB\nAssist employees and management with frequently asked HR related questions or needs; refers more complex or employee relations related questions to HR Manager.\nProvide clerical support to the HR department.\nAssist with recruiting, onboarding, and hiring processes. \nAssist with employee programs such as the wellness program and employee functions.\nAssist with conducting compliance audits.\nIssue employee uniforms, name tags, or other items, as needed.\nAssist HR Generalist with employee transportation.\nNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB\nProvide other administrative support, as needed.\nPerform other related duties, as required.\nRequirements\nREQUIREMENTS\nPassionate about Bogus Basin’s Mission.\nExperience in a Human Resources role, preferred. \nProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva.\nCapable of handling multiple projects with competing priorities.\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality, a professional demeanor, and to represent the organization in a positive manner.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills.\nAbility to pass a background check.\nAbility to work Monday through Friday.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nCombination of indoor and outdoor alpine environment.\nOccasionally exposed to inclement weather.\nThis position is an on mountain position and is required to work at the Bogus Basin Creek Lodge Monday through Friday. \nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBogus Basin provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
