(skiing skills and teaching skills) \nAssist in preparing lesson plans for upcoming lessons. \nRequirements\nRequirements\nPassionate about Bogus Basin’s Mission. \nSupervisory experience preferred \nPSIA Nordic Certification or US Ski and Snowboard (Nordic) coach license preferred \nAbility to work with people of all ages and abilities \nMust be able to ski comfortably and safely (classic or skate technique) on blue terrain at moderate speeds \nStrong written, verbal and computer skills \nAbility to make sound decisions during stressful situations \nAbility to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. \nAbility to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds above shoulder level. \nFrequently required to stand, balance, walk, climb, and reach with hands and arms. \nOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. \nRegularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or fell objects, tools, or controls. \nPosition requires all movement and physical exertion commonly associated with skiing, snowshoeing or fat-biking \nValid driver’s license and clean driving record. \nMust be 18 years of age. \nAbility to pass a background check. \nWorking Conditions\nSplit time between indoor and outdoor skiing operations, time and duration varies daily \nEmployee may be subject to an extended period working outdoors ranging from four (4) to six (6) hours or more \nPosition is regularly exposed to inclement weather \nPersonal Appearance When in the public eye, your personal appearance is an important part of the product we offer our guests. You should come to work neatly groomed and in uniform.
