In this role, you’ll coordinate field operations, manage data collection, and ensure the accuracy and quality of every survey. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams and clients to deliver results that drive development forward, from concept to construction.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead a survey crew and manage all aspects of field work, including boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys\nUtilize robotic Trimble total stations and GPS with Trimble Data Collectors to complete precise measurements\nPerform field calculations and sketching; download and compile field data, checking for completeness and accuracy\nManage quality control for all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, and plans\nMaintain and perform minor preventative maintenance on field equipment and vehicles\nOversee corporate credit card, mileage reimbursements, and related reporting\nPerform surveys independently or with a crew to meet project deadlines\nComply with all company policies, safety procedures, and standards\nWhat We Offer\nLeadership opportunities managing your own field crew and projects\nAccess to state-of-the-art Trimble robotic total stations and GPS equipment\nA clear career path with opportunities for professional development and growth aligned with your individual goals\nStrong project pipeline providing steady, reliable work\nEmpowering culture that values initiative, accountability, and continuous learning\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience; college coursework in surveying, math, or related field preferred\n3+ years of field experience using robotic total stations and data collectors\nExperience with Trimble equipment and software preferred\nStrong math, computer, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in varied terrain and weather conditions\nPhysical ability to lift at least 50 lbs\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation required\nWillingness to travel, work overtime, and stay overnight as needed\nSelf-motivated with strong leadership, organization, and communication skills\nLead the crew that turns data into direction.
