This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, leading talented teams, influencing stakeholders across the business, and driving quality at scale. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve, multiple initiatives run in parallel, and collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, Security, and Platform teams is essential.\nThe successful candidate will combine strong people leadership with technical credibility, enabling them to guide automation strategy, make informed decisions in ambiguous situations, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, and leading teams through rapidly changing priorities.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead and Develop High-Performing Teams\nLead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of SDETs\nCreate an environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence\nSupport career development, coaching, performance management, and hiring activities\nDrive Quality Engineering Excellence\nDefine and evolve testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality practices\nPartner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation effectiveness, reliability, and release confidence\nReview technical approaches and provide guidance on automation, testing architecture, and quality risks\nManage Complex Programs and Stakeholders\nLead quality initiatives across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams\nBuild strong partnerships across Engineering, Product, Operations, Security, and Platform teams, influencing decisions and driving alignment\nBalance competing priorities and make effective decisions in dynamic, fast-changing environments\nCommunicate risks, trade-offs, and delivery expectations clearly to stakeholders\nDrive Continuous modern testing approaches, including AI-assisted quality engineering and automation\n What We're Looking For\n10+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering\n3+ years of people management experience leading SDET or QA teams\nProven experience leading quality engineering teams within product-based organizations\nStrong technical background in test automation, quality engineering, and engineering best practices\nHands-on experience with Java and automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar\nExperience testing distributed systems and microservices-based applications\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities\nStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills\nAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and drive outcomes\nExperience with CI/CD, cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS is a plus\nFinTech, Payments, Banking, or Settlement domain experience is preferred\nWhy Join
