You own everything between marts/facts and the BI layer, and are a sparring partner to the operations analysts and business teams across Rides, Delivery, and wider verticals.\nMain tasks and responsibilities:\nTurn stakeholder and analyst requests into clear specs (grain, definitions, edge cases) before modelling, and validate output with source systems and stakeholders before sign-off.\nBuild and maintain reusable dbt models, tests, and documentation; extend marts and facts for reporting and self-service.\nMaintain end-to-end Looker projects (LookML views, explores, refinements), keeping LookML in step with dbt-driven or synced explores where applicable.\nUse AI-assisted tooling (e.g. Cursor, Claude) and lightweight automations across dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Python, and Google Sheets to accelerate modelling and remove repetitive analyst work.\nSupport break-fix and small refactors when upstream schemas or marts change; coordinate impact with key consumers.\nFollow system design and architectural best practices, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data integrity and consistency across the analytics stack.\nAbout you:\nYou hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business or similar studies.\nYou have significant experience in BI, analytics, or data roles with end-to-end delivery ownership, and can demonstrate tangible impact in data modelling.\nYou are proficient in SQL and dbt (refs, layers, tests, documentation) and fluent in LookML (explores, dimensions, measures, refinements, explore-as-code).\nYou have a working knowledge of Python for analytics and automation; familiarity with Spark, Airflow, or semantic/metrics-layer patterns (dbt Semantic Layer, MetricFlow) is a plus.\nYou are a strong cross-functional collaborator with good business sense, structured written communication (tickets, specs, PRs), and excellent verbal and written English.\nYou are proactive, take ownership, flag blockers early, and care about how numbers are interpreted - not only that the pipeline runs.\nWhy you’ll love it here\nAccelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.\nEnjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.\nTake care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.\nCelebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.\nConnect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.\nBalance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.\nSome perks may differ depending on your location and role.\n\nAt Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone.
