maintain, and execute manual test cases for new features and bug fixes.\nRun functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web [and mobile] applications.\nReport defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and severity in [Jira], then verify fixes.\nPerform basic API testing using tools like Postman.\nQuery the database with simple SQL to validate data and back up your findings.\nHelp maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation.\nContribute to release checklists and sign-off activities.\nLearn and gradually write automated tests (UI and API) under the guidance of senior engineers.\nTake part in sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nUnderstanding of the software development and testing life cycles, test case design techniques, and the defect life cycle.\nWorking knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript) enough to read code and write simple scripts.\nBasic SQL knowledge.\nFamiliarity with API concepts (REST, HTTP status codes, JSON) and a tool such as Postman.\nExposure to a bug tracking or test management tool (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, or similar).\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to describe a problem clearly in writing.\nComfortable asking questions and receiving feedback.\n\nNice to have: \nHands-on practice with an automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).\nFamiliarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).\nExposure to mobile testing (Android/iOS) or performance testing (JMeter, k6).\nISTQB Foundation Level certification.\nInternship, personal projects, or
