The Technical Architect generally operates as part of a project team; focusing on the technical design and build of the overall solution and ensuring seamless integration of any custom elements. A Technology Architect is responsible for the successful implementation of effective technology solutions, ensuring solution quality, business acceptance, and effective transition to support. A Technical Architect is responsible for maturing the Bolt Data technology practice; enabling Bolt Data to deliver work smarter.\nRole Responsibilities:\nEstablish effective working relationships with key client and project team stakeholders\nCommunicate and manage expectations regarding delivery updates, risks, issues, and opportunities with key stakeholders\nLead Requirements Gathering and Solution Design activities; influencing decisions regarding effectiveness, dependability, flexibility, scalability, supportability, and total cost of platforms and supporting technologies\nPartner with Solution Architect to develop technical specifications for custom development and system integration requirements, including estimations for delivery time, cost, and resources\nDevelop detailed technical design documents that align to solution design specifications\nLiaise between clients, project leads, and other delivery teams (including vendors) to communicate status, drive delivery performance, manage risks, and remove barriers\nLead technology design, configuration, and development activities, including database and environment migrations, across multiple projects; ensuring adherence to development standards, alignment to technical specifications, and delivery to agreed timelines\nDocument final solution and lead knowledge transition to client support team\nWork with project team to develop and validate estimates to support any Change Orders\nContribute to estimating and SOW templates for future phases\nFollow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed\nCoach and mentor junior technical and functional team members\nProfessional Capabilities:\n8+ years of hands-on technical experience with ServiceNow implementations with a minimum of 5 enterprise level technology projects\n8+ years of experience in software implementations with one or more Customer Relationship Management Solution (such as Oracle, SalesForce.com, SAP, Siebel, or other CRM software). Configuration experience is a must\n4+ years working within the ServiceNow ecosystem as a Technical Architect\nExpert level understanding of the ServiceNow product suite, including CRM, Customer Service Management, Field Service Management, Sales and Order Management.\nExpert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes\nKnowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating ServiceNow with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)\nFamiliarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)\nUnderstanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices\nUnderstanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture\nBachelor’s degree in computer science and demonstrated experience in computer operations, system analysis, programming, project implementations and technical management\nField service experience; including customer service management and call center support\nDemonstrated understanding of one or more industry-standard architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, FEAF, Gartner/Meta, etc.)\nExperience with key software development and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java and JavaScript, XML, Web Services, HTML, SSO, data loaders, messaging, etc.)\nExperience with RDMS concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods, data migration, etc.\nExperience with system integrations, preferably involving ServiceNow\nAbility to migrate configurations and code between environments using industry standard tools\nExperience with software delivery lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile) and project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK) with the ability to manage multiple projects to aggressive timelines\nUnderstand field service resource management, contractors, timesheets, operating hours, shifts, primary and secondary territory setup. inventory management (return, request & track)\nExperience working independently and within a cross-functional and cross-vendor team environment; collaborating effectively, creating consensus, and driving outcomes\nSupport Bolt Data Sales activities\nSupport Bolt Data practice maturation and internal initiatives as required\nParticipate in Peer Reviews of colleague’s solution designs\nMentoring more junior team members in business analysis, project management, and ServiceNow best practices.\nWillingness to travel domestically and internationally with client and project team as needed\nBolt Data Consulting Group LLC is an equal opportunity employer, and we firmly believe that every current and future team member has the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
