Please apply only if you are prepared to relocate and reside in Abu Dhabi.\nThis position is open to candidates currently based in the UAE; relocation support is not available.\nUAE Nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.\nWhat are your contributions to the team?\nEnsure the timely acquisition of parts and materials needed to service customer aircraft by planning and forecasting part and material requirements and coordinating acquisition with internal and external suppliers and materials personnel\nYou will locate and initiate the purchase of materials, tools and components via communication with internal and external sources and suppliers\nYou will expedite status of external and internal parts orders and purchase orders via communication with suppliers and inter-company operations\nYou will identify and schedule critical paths and assign priorities\nYou will attend meetings representing the department\nYou will interface with Supervisors and Managers or other departments on critical material problems\nYou will maintain shortage reports to track orders and communicate status to management\nYou will create and issue internal orders and other applicable documents to meet parts and materials requirements\nYou will provide information to adjust discrepant orders/exception messages and cancel line items not received or returned to stock as needed \nYou will create new part numbers for site-specific parts used and send part number requests to internal suppliers\nYou will maintain accurate inventory of transactions using computerized inventory and manual filing systems\nYou will order and/or reorder materials, tools, and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules as required\nYou will identify alternate and superseded part numbers\n How to thrive in this role?\nYou would typically have 5 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience\nYou have training & equivalent experience with SAP system \nYou have planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting\nYou have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with sales team, owners, outside counsel, and other departments\nYou are proficient with Microsoft Office \nYou would typically have 5-year experience in inventory planning and procurement (preferred)\nYou would typically have 5 or more years’ experience in inventory forecasting and analysis (preferred)\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Inventory Management or related area (preferred)\nNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!\nPlease note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position.
