We contribute to the development of new or derivative aircraft and support continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft. The team also actively participates in flight testing activities and closely interacts with regulatory authorities to ensure safety and compliance to airworthiness requirements.\nWhat are your contributions to the team?\nDuring your internship, you will contribute to:\nGeneration of aircraft performance data for Flight Manuals (QRH, FCOM, AFM).\nValidation and development of performance software tools.\nGeneration of aircraft performance data for Flight management systems (FMS).\nAnalysis of flight test or test rig data, if applicable.\nAnalyses in support of Sales and Marketing campaigns.\nDuring your internship you will learn:\nHow to use Perl/Python/Matlab scripting to analyze and visualize aircraft performance data.\nHow aircraft performance data is used on Bombardier aircraft.\nCommunication and teamwork in an Engineering office environment.\n How to thrive in this role?\nYou are currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace) or in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum equivalent GPA of B+.\nYou are familiar with concepts in aircraft performance including takeoff, landing, and mission performance.\nYou possess good programming skills (C#, C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab) and have a working knowledge of the UNIX operating system environment.\nYou demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.\nYou can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established for you.\nYou are proficient in written and spoken English.\nBoarding Information:\nLocation: Global 7500/8000\nDuration: 16 months\nFlexible workplace-Hybrid\nIt is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
