Over the course of your internship, you will receive one-on-one training and coaching from a team of talented experts and take on increasingly challenging and rewarding tasks. You will be:\nWorking on one or more of the following avionics AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS)\nAssisting an experienced integrator to define and manage the systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met\nWorking with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft\nWriting report and documentations to support avionics system certifications\nsupporting ARP4754 system and aircraft requirement verification and validations\nSupporting the Final Assembly Line and In Service Aircrafts for any design related issues\nDuring this internship, you will learn about\nDesign change management process in a large scale engineering organization\nMany aspects of the aircraft lifecycle management\nRequirement management\nPriority management and time management\n How to thrive in this role?\nCompleted 3rd year of a 4 year program in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent\nYou have knowledge with specification, function, integration, and testing related to Avionics systems\nYou have knowledge on how avionics systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft\nYou have knowledge with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160 and ARP4754 (Asset)\nYou have strong communication skills (verbal and written)\nYou have strong work planning structure and prioritization\nYou have the ability to work well in a team environment\nBoarding Information:\nLocation: Global 7500/8000\nDuration: 8 months\nFlexible workplace-Hybrid\nIt is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
