We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.\nYour boarding pass will include…\nSeveral conferences, including:\nMeet An Executive\nWomen Taking Flight\nLearning more about Bombardier, including:\nBombardier Products conference \nVisits of the Bombardier sites \nBombardier Academy of Learning \nMany social/networking opportunities, including:\nVolunteering \nNetworking for Success\n5 à 7, Potluck, and much more!\n What are your contributions to the team?\nBombardier Experimental (BEX) provides expertise across various testing disciplines in support of product development, certification, and fleet support activities.\nWhat can you expect from this role at BEX?\nCollaborate with a team of senior engineers in the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of system test rigs, structural test rigs, wind tunnel test models, or experimental installations on flight test vehicles. \nExecute the mechanical design of parts and assemblies of development projects or for in service aircraft fleet support. \nContribute to the documentation of design processes and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. \nDevelop your skills in 3D design and mechanical analysis. \nExpand your knowledge of measuring instruments, sensors, and data acquisition systems. \nWork closely with testing and manufacturing activities. \n How to thrive in this role?\nYou are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering and have completed 2 years of your program. \nYou are skilled in 3D and 2D mechanical design, particularly with CATIA V5 and Siemens NX software, and you are proficient with the MS Office suite. \nYou demonstrate a strong ability to learn, as well as an excellent aptitude for quickly adapting to new contexts and challenges. \nYou have a strong interest in the aerospace industry and design. \nYou are eligible to apply to the Controlled Goods Program authorization (CGD and ITAR). \nYou have excellent communication skills and good judgment. \nYou enjoy working and collaborating as part of a team. \nYou can work under pressure and meet deadlines. \nYou are proficient in French and English (written and spoken). \nYou can commute a few times a week to Bombardier offices in the Montreal area. \nBoarding Information:\nLocation: Marcel-Laurin Plant 1\nDuration: 8 months\nFlexible workplace-Hybrid\nIt is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates.
