We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.\nYour boarding pass will include…\nSeveral conferences, including:\nMeet An Executive\nWomen Taking Flight\nLearning more about Bombardier, including:\nBombardier Products conference \nVisits of the Bombardier sites \nBombardier Academy of Learning \nMany social/networking opportunities, including:\nVolunteering \nNetworking for Success\n5 à 7, Potluck, and much more!\nWhat are your contributions to the team?\nDuring your internship, you will contribute to:\nWork within the Advanced Structures engineering department of Bombardier;\nHelp develop models and tools to process an innovative aircraft structure;\nComplete and analyze available data concerning similar existing structures\nCreate the documentation (procedures and methodologies) for the development of this new aircraft;\nSupport the first phase of development for the structural aspect with standard analysis tools, for instance, finite element analysis;\nBegin the production of the deliverables required for this first development phase\nDuring your internship, you will learn:\nDeepen knowledge on using FEM software for Structures analysis\nDevelop critical thinking on mathematical results to give them with meaning for engineering.\nParticipate to project meetings (Project follow up, design reviews, specific studies)\nHow to thrive in this role?\nWhat we are looking for:\nYou are enrolled in a mechanical engineering degree with some coding experience\nYou are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0+) and object-oriented programming methods\nYou have an experience with Nastran (Siemens NX, Altair OptiStruct, MSC)\nOr at least an another finite element software suite\nYou have basic knowledge of MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint\nYou are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic\nBoarding Information:\nLocation: Administrative Centre (CA)\nDuration: 8 months\nFlexible workplace-Hybrid\nIt is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates.
