Prepares progress reports.\nRecommends changes in plans and specifications to suit special conditions.\nDevelops innovative engineering techniques\nGenerates documentation for approval by others.\nReviews part of documentation prepared by others and recommends approval.\nMay be responsible for small work packages.\nYou may also be expected to:\nWork closely with Defense Engineering functions (Performance, Systems, Avionics, Structures, Stress, Electrical, Interiors, Methods, Production, Quality, Certification) to produce thoroughly integrated solutions, aligned to customer requirements.\nParticipate in and lead supplier and technical reviews providing timely feedback to management and appropriate team members.\nWork closely with Capture and Proposal Programs counterpart to ensure engineering deliverables are clearly outlined and support Program meetings as required.\nDraft and/or Approve Statements of Work and Compliance Matrices, in line with the Customer technical requirements.\nDevelop and Review Bid packages for Defense customers including integrated technical solutions, estimated budget and schedule\nReview Proposals for alignment to technical bids.\nAble to lead weekly and monthly governance, including status of schedules and budgets.\nDevelop, improve and automate reporting and visibility tools.\nEnsure Customer and Internal commitments are being met.\nSupport service requests dealing with missionized aircraft.\nDevelop strong partnerships with Engineering and non-Engineering groups.\nSupport or Lead Customer meetings.\nSupport development needs and resources for your department.\nEstablish critical skills, gap analysis and cross-training plans to optimize the team’s flexibility.\nSupport yearly budgetary exercise and quarterly forecasts to evaluate the department's manpower.\nHow to thrive in this role?\nYou hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering\nYou have a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in aerospace and/or technical project management in the aerospace industry.\nPreferred Qualifications Include:\nYou have a strong technical knowledge of aircraft and/or aircraft systems integration.\nYou have experience leading tasks related to aircraft special mission modifications.\nKnowledge of Flight Testing is an asset.\nExperience in Proposal writing is an asset\nYou show very strong leadership skills, judgment, flexibility and the ability to influence others.\nYou are results-oriented, able to meet aggressive deadlines, comfortable working under pressure and you have a sense of urgency.\nYou have great deal of initiative and a passion to be part of a winning team, and you have strong teamwork and people skills.\nYou have excellent written and oral communication skills\nExperience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter is an asset.\nYou have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.\nYou may be required to travel and work extended hours when required.\nYou must be eligible for ITAR clearance.\nNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!\nBombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
