This role works across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure mission systems and aircraft structural and system modifications meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and operational objectives. The Systems Engineer contributes to mission effectiveness through the successful execution of engineering activities across the system lifecycle, from concept development and integration to verification, certification, and sustainment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nDevelop system architectures and interface definitions for aircraft-based mission systems.\nSupport integration of aircraft systems, structures, and mission equipment.\nConduct systems engineering activities including requirements management, verification, validation, and traceability.\nCoordinate with design, avionics, software, certification, manufacturing, and flight test teams.\nHow to thrive in this role?\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExperience applying systems engineering principles in aerospace, defense, aviation, or complex technical programs.\nKnowledge of requirements management and verification methodologies.\nUnderstanding of aircraft systems, avionics, communications, networking, or mission systems integration.\nExperience developing technical documentation and engineering analyses.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with defense or special mission aircraft programs.\nFamiliarity with Siemens Teamcenter Requirements Management or similar requirements management tools.\nKnowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL-STD requirements, FAA, EASA, or military certification processes.\nNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!\nBombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
