By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise.\nBombardier’s Benefits Program\nWith our employees’ well-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following:\nInsurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more)\nCompetitive base salary \nRetirement savings plan \nEmployee Assistance Program \nTele Health Program\n What are your contributions to the team?\nLead the technical execution of assigned Bombardier Defense programs and serve as the principal technical integrator across work packages, engineering disciplines, suppliers, and the IPDT.\nMaintain technical integrity of engineering proposals, platform architecture, design solutions, and key technical decisions throughout the program lifecycle.\nEstablish, develop, validate, and maintain project-level technical requirements, including Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs) and other aircraft-level technical definition documents.\nTranslate customer, program, and business needs into clear and achievable technical requirements and validate that proposed solutions are technically feasible, supportable, and compliant.\nProvide oversight for technical gate reviews and technical maturity activities, including SRR, PDR, CDR, test readiness, and related review forums.\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and integration issues that could affect safety, compliance, performance, schedule, or cost.\nDevelop and drive mitigation, recovery, and resolution plans for technical issues, supplier performance concerns, and program integration challenges.\nDirect and coordinate the technical activities of applicable suppliers and support supplier selection, technical evaluation, technical ranking, and ongoing supplier technical management.\nCoordinate cross-work-package and cross-discipline design integration to ensure consistency, compatibility, and alignment of the overall product solution.\nSupport certification, airworthiness, compliance planning, and regulator-facing activities for assigned programs, including coordination with applicable internal airworthiness and certification stakeholders.\nSupport continued airworthiness, technical upkeep, in-service design evolution, and review of defense modifications, maintenance procedures, and operational procedures as required.\nChair or co-chair technical review activities and technical change management forums, and serve as a lead technical decision maker in assigned technical review boards.\nServe as the primary internal and external technical point of contact for design, development, technical issues, risks, and technical integration matters related to the assigned program.\nHow to thrive in this role?\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred where applicable.\n10+ years in aircraft design, systems integration, flight test, certification, defense modification programs, or complex aerospace development environments.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional technical teams and integrating work across multiple engineering disciplines and supplier organizations.\nStrong knowledge of technical requirements development, design reviews, engineering change management, technical risk management, and product lifecycle considerations.\nExperience supporting certification planning, compliance activities, airworthiness coordination, and regulator interactions in a highly regulated aerospace environment preferred.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, influence decisions, and present effectively at working and executive levels.\nDemonstrated ability to balance technical performance, customer commitments, schedule, cost, and compliance requirements in a program environment.\nAble to work on ITAR programs.\nNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!\nPlease note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position.
