Learn more at bonterratech.com.\nAbout the Role\nThe Research Coordinator supports the success of Democratic campaigns, PACs, and progressive organizations by providing timely research and lead coordination for our teams. This role is responsible for researching elections, candidates, organizations, and campaign activity, and using internal systems to track and route leads, accounts, and election timelines across NGP VAN, including the ActionKit and Mobilize teams.They collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and Operations teams to support revenue and internal processes by providing accurate research, campaign context, insights, reporting, and support for special projects.\nEssential Position Functions and Responsibilities:\nConduct detailed research on elections, candidates, organizations, and campaigns.\nManage internal systems and processes for tracking lead activity and election timelines.\nMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date territory-specific knowledge.\nCoordinate with sales and marketing to ensure leads are properly routed and followed.\nParticipate in internal reporting and data entry activities.\nSupport Research and Sales team members in special projects.\nCollaborate with a wide array of NGP VAN staff to exceed each client's expectations \nComplete administrative tasks to support cross-functional initiatives.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong online research capabilities and analytical thinking.\nFamiliarity with progressive political landscapes and campaign structures.\nAttention to detail and strong organizational practices.\nProblem-solving, logistics, best practices, and data-driven decision-making abilities\nAbility to synthesize data and present findings clearly.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfort working both independently and in team settings.\nQualifications (Required and Preferred):\nRequired:\nDemonstrated interest in Democratic campaigns or progressive politics.\nExperience with online research tools or political data resources.\nPreferred:\nExperience with CRMs such as Salesforce, or the NGP VAN / EveryAction suite.\nFamiliarity with FEC filings and state-level campaign finance databases.\nThis position is a part of a bargaining union represented by CWA Local 1101, 1400, 2336, or 13000.\nAt this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.\n____________________________________________________________________________________\nOur Culture\nAt Bonterra, we’re innovating with a higher purpose: to increase giving to 3% of US GDP by 2033, creating $573 billion more in global impact every year.
