the Role\nBoogie Team is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a U.S.-based client.\nIn this role, you will handle day-to-day bookkeeping Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate financial records, including recording and categorizing daily transactions.\nReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts regularly.\nManage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, bills, payments, and outstanding balances.\nTrack business expenses, vendor payments, and other financial transactions.\nPrepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.\nAssist with month-end closing, financial documentation, and tax preparation requirements.\nCommunicate with U.S.-based clients, vendors, and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.\nRequirements\nAt least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience supporting U.S.-based businesses or clients.\nProficiency in QuickBooks Online.\nSolid understanding of U.S. bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles.\nExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.\nFamiliarity with invoicing, expense tracking, and payment processing.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in handling financial records.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.\nAbility to handle confidential financial information professionally.\nReliable computer equipment, stable internet connection, and availability during U.S. Pacific business hours.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S.-based companies, small businesses, startups, or accounting firms.\nFamiliarity with other accounting platforms such as Xero, FreshBooks, or Wave.\nExperience with payroll processing, contractor payments, or recurring billing.\nFamiliarity with U.S. tax documentation, including W-9s and 1099s.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking and reporting.\nExperience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients or business
