You will manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, maintain strong candidate pipelines, and work at pace to successfully fill allocated vacancies.\nThe ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys speaking with people, is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, and can take ownership of recruitment outcomes from initial sourcing through to placement.\nAs a Recruitment Consultant:\nYou will play a key role in connecting suitable candidates with opportunities across industries including civil construction, solar and renewable energy, mining, and resources.\nYou will proactively source, screen, interview, qualify, and manage candidates while maintaining accurate information within Bullhorn. You will work directly with candidates throughout their recruitment journey, ensuring they remain engaged, informed, and prepared for each stage of the process.\nThis is a performance-driven role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving recruitment environment and is motivated by achieving measurable weekly results.\nYour Responsibilities as a Recruitment Consultant would be:\nSource and screen candidates through SEEK, Bullhorn, and other relevant job boards and recruitment channels.\nConduct high-volume outbound candidate calls, including screening, follow-ups, re-engagement, and candidate care.\nInterview, register, and qualify candidates against live vacancies.\nAssess candidate suitability, experience, availability, and employment preferences.\nSubmit qualified candidates for suitable vacancies.\nConduct professional reference checks.\nCoordinate medicals, inductions, interviews, and candidate mobilisation.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, activity notes, and pipeline information within Bullhorn.\nProactively manage candidate pipelines and re-engage suitable candidates for new opportunities.\nSupport candidates already progressing through the recruitment process and provide timely updates.\nTake ownership of allocated vacancies from initial sourcing through to successful placement and commencement.\nConsistently meet or exceed agreed weekly recruitment and activity KPIs. Weekly Performance Expectations As a minimum, you will generally be expected to achieve:\n100 candidate phone calls\n10 qualified candidate submissions\n5 placements/starts\n10 online candidate interviews\n10 reference checks\n100% accurate CRM activity and candidate notes Calls will include screening candidates, discussing available opportunities, following up applicants, re-engaging existing candidates, and supporting candidates already progressing through the recruitment process. What We Are Looking For Ideally, you will have previous blue-collar recruitment experience, particularly across:\nCivil construction\nSolar and renewable energy\nMining and resources You will also bring:\nPrevious experience in recruitment delivery or end-to-end recruitment.\nConfidence managing multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously.\nExperience working within a high-volume, KPI-driven recruitment environment.\nStrong candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and qualification skills.\nConfidence conducting a high volume of outbound candidate calls.\nExcellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate professionally with candidates throughout Australia.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nA proactive, accountable approach to vacancy ownership.\nStrong attention to detail when maintaining CRM records and candidate notes.\nExperience using Bullhorn or a similar recruitment CRM would be highly advantageous.
