How You'll Make An Impact

As an Endpoint Management & IT Automation Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert and technical driver for Microsoft Intune and Azure Entra ID, shaping how Boomi's global workforce securely accesses devices and cloud resources. You will establish automation frameworks, enforce identity governance standards, and lead cross-platform endpoint strategies that directly impact organisational security posture and operational efficiency at scale.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design, configuration, and governance of enterprise-grade endpoint management solutions across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android  using Microsoft Intune
• Architect and enforce  Zero Trust access principles, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access policies across Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Drive intelligent IT automation  by building and maintaining scalable scripts and workflows using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API  to streamline identity, endpoint, and access management operations
• Design and manage Autopilot/enrollment workflows, co-management strategies, and endpoint security baselines ensuring seamless device onboarding at scale
• Lead identity governance  initiatives - managing Entra ID users, groups, roles, and access policies across a globally distributed workforce
• Architect integrations between Azure/Entra ID and downstream identity providers  including Okta and Google Workspace, unifying cross-platform access management
• Identify and eliminate repetitive administrative tasks across Intune, Jamf, and Azure  through proactive automation, improving reliability and reducing turnaround time
• Produce and maintain compliance, device health, and security reporting  for audit and governance purposes
• Administer Okta SSO app integrations, user/group provisioning, and Google Workspace security settings including 2SV, device management, and org unit policies
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Cloud Infrastructure  teams to align endpoint and identity strategies with broader organisational security frameworks
• Stay ahead of emerging endpoint and identity technologies, evaluate new tools, and drive continuous improvement across IT operations

The Experience You Bring

• Endpoint Management Expertise:  7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune experience - device compliance policies, configuration profiles, app protection policies, and endpoint security baselines across multi-OS environments
• Identity & Access Management:  5+ years of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (Azure AD) experience with deep expertise in Zero Trust, MFA, PIM, and Conditional Access architecture
• IT Automation:  Strong scripting and automation proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API  to optimise and scale identity and endpoint operations
• Cloud Infrastructure:  Solid understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure components relevant to identity, security, and endpoint operations in enterprise environments
• Cross-Platform Identity:  Working knowledge of  Okta  (SSO, identity federation, user provisioning) and Google Workspace  administration including security settings and device management
• Operational Excellence:  Experience producing audit-ready compliance reporting, endpoint health dashboards, and security documentation for senior stakeholders
• Collaboration & Communication:  Strong ability to work cross-functionally with global teams, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and drive alignment on endpoint and identity strategies
• Process Improvement Mindset:  Proven ability to identify inefficiencies, design automation solutions, and implement systemic improvements across IT operations

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Required Certifications:
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator  (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator  (AZ-104)  or Azure Fundamentals  (AZ-900)
• Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator  (SC-300)
  • Okta Certified Professional
