You will be responsible for sourcing innovative smartwear products that enhance our customers' experience. Your insights will help shape our product offerings and ensure we meet the evolving needs of our clientele.\nKey responsibilities\nProvide analysis and insights which enable development of the category strategy, in conjunction with the Category Manager and key suppliers\nDevelopment and delivery of the annual category plans, working cross functionally to execute \nRegular and timely reporting on key category performance indicators to support understanding and drive insight-based actions\nManagement of product entry and exit (NPI) to optimise and grow our database and margin\nSupplier performance reporting, and supplier performance and relationship management\nSecure supplier funding and work with internal teams to execute activity aimed at optimising category performance (Trade plan)\nSupport and where required, manage additional categories such as Safety outside of the Smartwear remit.\nWhat you’ll need to have (our must-haves)\nProven experience in buying or merchandising, preferably in retail.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, fully competent with MS products.\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills.\nA passion for innovation and customer-centric solutions.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience in the optical or healthcare sector.\nFamiliarity with smartwear technology and trends.\nA degree in business, marketing, or a related field.\nWhere your brilliance can take you\nAt Boots, we are committed to your professional growth.
