This involves multiple interrelated programmes of work delivering new solutions and changes to the existing landscape across multiple domains. This transformation is critical for our growth agenda delivering a flexible technology landscape enabling future innovation and rapid delivery to meet customer and colleague expectations and experience. As a Project Manager, you will work alongside our product and business process teams seamlessly to deliver key technology projects within this transformation roadmap. Key responsibilities:\nCo-ordinating all aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery of customer and business objectives\nBringing together project team members from product, business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan\nCollaborating and coordinating delivery across multiple Technology teams and platforms \nLeading the end-to-end project lifecycle, from design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects\nAdhering to project management frameworks and standards within the team, including good financial governance\nSupporting the team to solve problems and remove blockers \nEnergising and motivating the team to drive delivery of the plan in the most efficient and effective way \nKeeping stakeholders and senior management up to date on progress and escalating for help where necessary \nWhat you'll need to have (our must haves):\nExperience managing large IT projects (multi million, multi year) end to end\nThe ability to bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan\nExcellent planning skills across multiple teams and third parties and ability to gain their buy in to the plan \nExcellent people skills to bring the team together with one purpose and break down barriers between different parts of the organisation\nExperience of working with a Product team embedded with the Technology Delivery team \nExcellent stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to build relationships and influence\nStrong verbal, presentation and written communication skills\nYou’ll need to be resilient in the face of challenges, and support others within the team\nYou’ll need to be highly motivated and bought into the success of the team and able to energise and motivate the wider team\nExperience of delivery frameworks, both agile and waterfall including good financial governance\nThe ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve and escalate issues as required\nRewards designed for you:\nBoots Retirement Savings Plan\nDiscretionary annual bonus\nGenerous employee discounts\nEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child\nFlexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.\nAccess to free, 24/7 counselling and support through HealthHero, our Employee Assistance Programme.\nWe have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you - find out more at boots.jobs/rewards.
