Your expertise will help translate strategic objectives into actionable insights, ensuring that our data products deliver real value to Boots, Boots Opticians, and the No7 Beauty Company. Collaborating closely with both business stakeholders and technology teams, you will lead efforts to enhance customer and patient experiences through data-driven decision-making.\nKey responsibilities\nLead business and data analysis across complex initiatives, from discovery to delivery and benefits realisation.\nTranslate complex needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data specifications.\nProvide direction, coaching, and quality assurance for Business Data Analysts, promoting consistent methods.\nFacilitate workshops and decision-making sessions that integrate business, data, and technology teams.\nConduct data profiling and root-cause analysis to assess data structure, quality, and integrity.\nUse evidence and insights to challenge assumptions and recommend practical solutions.\nContribute to Program Increment planning and Agile Release Train ceremonies.\nCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nWhat you'll need to have (our must-haves)\nSignificant experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and data analysis within complex environments.\nProven track record of leading analysis activities and supporting the development of other analysts.\nExperience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.\nProficiency in data visualisation tools and analytics platforms.\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience in retail, healthcare, or another data-rich customer environment.\nProficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.\nFamiliarity with Azure, Databricks, data warehousing, or database management.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, or machine learning.\nWhere your brilliance can take you\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead complex data initiatives that significantly impact business outcomes.
