Your role will involve:\nCarrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site.\n\nMaking informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities.\n\nProviding support and guidance to fellow team members.\n\nResponding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions.\n\nParticipating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.\n\nWhat you’ll need to have (our must-haves)\nA time-served Engineering apprenticeship.\n\nSignificant mechanical experience.\n\nUnderstanding of industrial processes and steam systems.\n\nKnowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment.\n\nA full valid UK driving licence.\n\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\n\nA positive ‘can do’ attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.\n\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks.\n\nFlexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.\n\nWhere your brilliance can take you\nAt Boots, we are committed to your growth.
