Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will enhance our social performance and contribute to the overall success of the Social, Content & Influencer function.\nKey responsibilities\nLead the annual, quarterly, and seasonal planning process for social media.\nDevelop an insight-led social planning framework that translates business objectives into measurable outcomes.\nOversee the paid social content strategy, ensuring it aligns with brand and commercial goals.\nCollaborate with the Social Media Manager to create compelling organic content.\nEstablish clear social planning rhythms and frameworks for improved visibility and prioritisation.\nDrive measurement, reporting, and effectiveness across social channels, including influencers and editorial content.\nAnalyse performance trends and audience behaviour to inform strategic recommendations.\nFoster strong relationships with Media, PR, and Brand Communications teams.\nWhat you'll need to have (our must-haves)\nSignificant experience in social strategy and planning.\nStrong expertise in paid social content and creative effectiveness.\nProven ability to translate brand objectives into measurable social strategies.\nExcellent analytical skills with experience in performance reporting.\nDeep understanding of marketing measurement and effectiveness methodologies.\nStrong communication and stakeholder influencing skills.\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience with econometrics and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM).\nFamiliarity with System1 research and brand tracking methodologies.\nKnowledge of creative testing and optimisation frameworks.\nBackground in leading and developing teams in a marketing environment.\nWhere your brilliance can take you\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to shape Boots' social strategy and lead a talented team, paving the way for your career growth within the organisation.
