AWS DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks-ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions.

As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experiencewith the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments

• 3+ years of experiencewith troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI and CD pipeline issues

• Experiencewith developing enterprise AWS solutions

• Experiencewith containerization and container orchestration

• Experiencewith writing scripts using Python or Bash

• Experiencewith creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith provisioning computer networking and storage and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machine (VMs)or networks

• Experiencewith automated testing frameworks

• Experiencewith Infrastructure-as-Code

• Experiencewith creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks

• Experiencewith triaging and resolving issues relatedto both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

• TS/SCI with a polygraph

• IAT Level II+ Certification, including Security+ or CISSP

• AWS Certification, including AWS Solution Architect - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance is required.
