C2 Systems Platform and Infrastructure Engineer

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD or Flux to design, deploy, and harden the containerized foundation beneath next-generation C2 systems, from enterprise data centers to the tactical edge and cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experiencewithin a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal software, licenses, and environments, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have:

• Experienceoperating Kubernetes at production scale, including cluster deployment, day-2 operations, upgrades, and security hardening

• Experiencewith CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD or Flux

• Experiencewith Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible

• Experienceimplementing and operating an observability stack such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK or OpenTelemetry

• Experiencedesigning and deploying systems in secure, air-gapped, or DDIL environments

• Ability totranslate mission and reliability requirements into resilient, automated platform designs

• Ability toobtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degreein CS or Engineering and 8+ years of experiencein infrastructure or platform engineering, including technical leadership on production systems, or 12+ years of experiencein infrastructure or platform engineering, including technical leadership on production systems, in lieu of a degree

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Consul, for traffic management, mTLS, and observability

• Experiencedeploying and sustaining containerized platforms in DoD environments, including Platform One, Big Bang, or Iron Bank

• Experienceengineering for the tactical edge and hardening deployments for DDIL and disconnected operations

• Experiencewith C2, ISR, or othermission-critical DoD systems and their operational constraints

• Experienceimplementing DevSecOps practices, including container scanning, STIG compliance, and policyenforcement such as OPA or Gatekeeper, and Kyverno

• Experiencewith secrets management and Zero Trust patterns such as HashiCorp Vault and SPIFFE or SPIRE

• Experienceachieving and maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO), continuous ATO, or RMF accreditation

• Secret clearance

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)Certification

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or similarCloud Certification
