Data Scientist

On our team, you’ll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions. Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:
- 1+ years of experiencewith Python
- Experiencewith statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
- Ability toanalyze structured and unstructured data sources
- Ability touse scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Ability towork effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degreeand 1+ years of experience with data analysis, or 3+ years of experiencewith data analysis in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencewith VS Code, GitHub, Jira, or Confluence
- Experiencewith data gathering, cleansing, and parsing
- Knowledge ofDoD intelligence processes, activities, standards, and analytic tools
- Ability towork in Windows and Linux OS environments
- Bachelor's degreein Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
