DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best-create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:
- 2+ years of experienceautomating CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins or GitLab
- 2+ years of experienceautomating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- 2+ years of experiencewith configuration management tools
- Experienceworking with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Experiencewith containerization tools, including Kubernetes or Docker
- Knowledge ofscripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability toobtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certificationwithin 30 days of hire date
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencehosting applications on commercial cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experiencewith Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Gradle, or NPM
- Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Knowledge oftriaging and resolving issues relatedto both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
