DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us developcontainer management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
As a platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skillsto affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll strengthen your skillsusing the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with currentcontainer software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are metthroughout the containerization process.
You’ll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll gain DevOps skillsand experiencewhile supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

You Have:
3+ years of experiencein the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
Experiencebuilding and hardening DevSecOps pipelines, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS, automating CI/CD, and improving deployment tooling
Experiencein GCP, Go, Python, microservices, serverless, and testing
Experiencetroubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues relatedto CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experiencecreating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
Knowledge ofdeveloping, managing, and securing containers
Ability toobtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
Knowledge oftriaging and resolving issues relatedto both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Knowledge ofscripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
