DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
As a platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll strengthen your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with currentcontainer software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are metthroughout the containerization process.
You’ll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll gain DevOps skills and experiencewhile supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

You Have:
3+ years of experiencesupporting code deployments to a cloud environment
Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experienceworking with Windows OS or Linux
Knowledge ofdeveloping, managing, and securing containers
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experienceworking with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kubernetes (ELK)stacks
Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
Knowledge oftriaging and resolving issues relatedto both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Knowledge ofscripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script
TS/SCI clearance
AWS certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
